WEDDINGS

There will be 2 interviews with the Pastor.

For the first interview, please fill out the form and email back. Marriage Registration Form

Once we receive initial registration, we will contact you to schedule the appointment with Father.

You will need to collect following documents as a preparation for the marriage second interview:

  1. Baptism certificate

All Catholics being married must present an updated Certificate of Baptism issued within six months of their wedding date.  We will not accept an original baptismal certificate or a photocopy of your original baptismal certificate. To obtain an updated copy of your baptismal certificate, please contact the church where you were baptized, be it in Canada or abroad.

  • If baptized within North America, a new certificate needs to be issued within six months before your wedding date.
  • If baptized overseas, where getting a new Baptismal Certificate may be difficult (eg., remote village, war-torn country), then getting a new one issued within a year of your wedding date is acceptable.
  • Again, we do not accept original Baptismal Certificates.

If you have been baptised but not in a Catholic church you will need to bring the proof of your baptism (doesn’t have to be recently released)

  1. Marriage course

You need to find and complete Catholic marriage course and the proof of it has to be provided for the meeting.

Please contact us five months prior to the wedding for the final interview with the priest.

Before the meeting please email or drop off  baptism certificates and the proof of the marriage course completed.

3.Marriage licence at least 2 weeks before the wedding.
