END OF SCHOOL YEAR AND EXAMS
We enter the last half of June and yes only 6 mts. till Christmas. For our High School students, it means entering into Exam time. Whether it be our Grade 12's writing their last high school exam or Grade 9's finishing their first full year of High school. Tensions are high and stress is a factor for all of them. During these next few weeks we ask everyone to pray them during this time of preparation. Come Holy Spirit.
WALKING PILGRIMAGE
Annual Walking Pilgrimage to Martyrs' Shrine in Midland will take place from August 5 to 11.
This year's theme:
"Lord, teach us to pray" (Luke 11:1).
The cost of participation is $30 for one day, or $50 for the weekend, or $150 for the entire week and covers, among others: accommodation, luggage transport, toilet and truck rentals. We provide a warm dinner at each campsite. On-line registration only: www.pielgrzymka.ca.
Pilgrims should take with them: intention, rosary, OHIP card, tent, sleeping bag, mattress or sleeping mat, soup bowl and utensils, packed lunch, water bottle, cotton socks,
T-shirts with sleeves, toiletries, first aid kit, sunscreen, bug repellant, comfortable (not new!) footwear, headgear, raincoat.

CAMP SPONSORS NEEDED
This year we are turning to you for much needed sponsorship. As you know for many families finances are a great concern. Our hope is that we as a parish are able to subsidize some of the cost of registration. If you are able to help out with sponsoring a young person for camp it would be greatly appreciated. VACATION BIBLE CAMP
(MARK YOUR CALENDARS)
We are happy to announce our Vacation Bible Camp—COME TO THE TABLE. This is open to all children ages 4-10. July 8th-12th 9:00-12:30 pm. Great activities, prayer time, story time, and lots of snacks. VACATION BIBLE CAMP.
We have over 50 children registered for Vacation Bible Camp July 8-12. We are reaching out to you as we need many volunteers for various roles. Grade 8's , High School, University students, moms, dads grandparents are all welcome to come and join in this great ministry. We need people to assist with crafts, lead the Bible Story session, help in the kitchen preparing snacks, assist with outdoor activities, assisting with signing in and signing out and many more opportunities to share time and talent. Come and be part of this, whether you can give us the full time 8:30-1:00 or just an hour or so please contact John Zurakowski , holyspiritministry4youth@gmail.com This is a great way for those graduating Grade 8 to start looking at volunteer hours that can be used for high school.
